duck I have not tried it so many times mica, what you believe. ... But recently I got to "know" more this type of meat for my curiosity for the event.

And 'in fact happened to eat a good sandwich shop discovered relatively recently ( Panzai , Circonvallazione Gianicolense, 143 Roma) who, among many tasty sandwiches, they also brought one named "Duck." The filling consisted of smoked duck breast salad, brie, sun dried tomatoes, orange sauce (very good) and pear slices. Really good sandwiches, rich, with ingredients that are in equilibrium with each other perfectly.

The fact that especially the duck (but also the sandwich as a whole) I liked very much, then prompted me to look for recipes with duck, perhaps using a breast to be cooked fresh in many different ways.

There must also be said that already I spotted some time on the site and a publication Voiello a recipe for a dish that you find interesting here and had as its main character just this kind of meat. So why not prepare this recipe? That whatever I changed enough to get the s plate / s that I propose in today's post.

I basically reduced to stew (and not to ground as in the recipe above), two duck breasts from about 250 grams and I made them brown in olive oil in which I had previously done sauté celery, carrot and onion along with the thyme. I then blended with the juice of half an orange and brandy.

To cook the meat (Which does not cook fast, I warn you) I added the vegetable stock (rather than meat as provided in the original recipe), mixed with the tomato paste (it should be done of course only at the first "scoop" of broth ).

From time to time I added more vegetable broth to soften the meat until cooked. Shortly before the end of cooking, I added fresh thyme and the other half of the grated orange peel.

With the fantastic sauce that it came out, I have some good seasoned penne adding small pieces of meat, well that completed the dish.

It is coming off a very interesting preparation, well balanced, with the classic contrast between the stronger taste of the duck el'aromaticità and greater sweetness of the orange, not for nothing is the perfect ingredient to combine with the duck.

Clearly the duck meat steamed thus obtained is especially tasty and a good second, I was able to appreciate better the next day, when the food was even good and tasty.

Maybe not everyone likes the taste strong and wild duck, but I own I recommend it, word of a sweet tooth like me!

We invite the many associations and the hundreds of thousands of members of civil society to do the same, pooling their resources and joining hands on a single line of action. We would particularly appeal to Catholic civil society to deplore the hesitations and silences of the Vatican on so important an issue of public ethics.

It 's a very versatile product, with a thousand uses, of which I propose to you today only a few (I sbizzarrirò then with many recipes that I have in mind and that of course I will keep you up to date).

Returning to our delicious and tasty dish, then here is the simple recipe, the doses which are not precise, but "a little 'eye."

In a bowl, put extra virgin olive oil (a fair amount), add a clove of garlic finely chopped and not excessive amount of tomato paste. Mix well. Then add a generous amount of dried oregano and thyme leaves. Mix again. Then combine a fifteen Pachino cut in small cubes and mix well. Meanwhile boil the pasta with a little salt (which, note, I did not even put in the sauce as above). Incorporate the pasta into the sauce, along with half a tablespoon of cooking water.

Serve, finishing the dish with a pinch of salt to the sun-dried tomatoes (very little time and will add a touch of originality to the preparation). This salt in the picture is recognized by those dots you see blacks in the middle of the plate and to seal the edge of the platter.

Second stage of my weekend Epiphany: Venice. What was not told of this wonderful city?

Una soluzione sfiziosa può essere quella di spizzicare golosi assaggini in qualche tipica cicchetteria, dove bere del buon vino e degustare tante deliziose tapas nostrane.

Ed io ho fatto proprio questo, in un locale che ho scoperto vicino al mercato del pesce nel quartiere San Polo, non lontano da Rialto. Proprio di fronte a questo mercato, infatti, si trova un localino non molto grande dal nome “Pronto pesce pronto” (San Polo, 319 Tel. 041.8220298) che prepara tanti gustosi piatti e assaggi di seafood.

Il mio giro per Venezia questa volta si è orientato anche sulla piacevole frequentazione di caffè e locali storici che meritano veramente una visita e nei quali si “respira” una stupenda atmosfera ed eleganza.

Tra i secondi ho mangiato un’ottima carne di manzo cotta nelle cipolle e nel Lambrusco insieme a della polenta buonissima (il piatto si chiama carbonata con polenta), ma nella scelta ci si può sbizzarrire tra mille altri gustosi piatti della tradizione mantovana, che potete vedere elencati into the picture.
