Hello.

As you can read other posts on this blog, I have great admiration for the Student Council, a body with power to advise that no one wants and few listen.

the last occasion, however, there was an interesting lecture by Prof. Cerea , father of "Redditometro, ISEE and dell'ICEF.

Prof. Cerea drove for two years a working group to define a system of progressive taxation . During the last degil Student Council presented its proposal.

The system is very complex and Prof. Cerea us asked not to get the news to the newspapers to avoid speculation on the increase in taxes. Of course the day after the three local newspapers had an article over (the South) or not (Trentino) long on the subject.

I see in the proposal presented on the next Student Council and in part I have already communicated to Prof. Ceredigion:

- I see it difficult to coordinate between this system and the system the study of law prepared by the Opera Universitaria. Before this proposal to be established would require coordination between Opera and the University, but to do that there would be no time frame to start the form produced by Ceredigion as early as next year.

- I fear positivization merit, the definition of who is good and who is not.

My vote, my position will not be decisive in this choice. The representative of Charta'91 students in the University's Board of Directors, which has carried out all over the battle of progressive taxation, is a big supporter of this proposal. How can be read in from the South is "right" and "left" are "all happy" with the progressive tax system proposed by Ceredigion.
